Community News & Announcements: SHOUT OUT!
"I just used PC Fix and they were awesome. It's so nice to have a Chamber member you can rely on to fix something as important as your computer. I learned a valuable lesson. Don't trust programs to "speed up" your computer and supposedly scan for viruses. According to Matt, many of them only monitor your computer so they can send information to sites to market to you." Please send your announcements, congratulations, testimonials and thank you's to Brittany@bothellchamber.com.

Upcoming Events: TSUGA Fine Art & Framing
The kids are back in school -- let's relish the remaining summer days! Here's what's going on at Main and 101st
Jannelle Loewen: Now teaching pastels at TSUGA Jannelle's current medium is Pastels. She consciously composes paintings using shapes and placement, using the elements of balance, color, texture, and size in her presentation.
She is aware of the myriad of influences (like technology) that are both opportunity and hindrance in today's milieu of art making and art showing. She juggles her own needs to please an audience with her more powerful need to create. In doing this, she knows the value of daily practice and study, and of maintaining perception. Jannelle endeavors to use art as therapy, or sometimes as meditation. "The act of painting is a quest to understand it, and my joy in this is endless", she says.
Go to www.tsugafineart.com/art-classes/janelle-loewen/ for class information. Ready-made Frame Sale - September 16-20 Purchase a ready-made at regular price and receive mat, glass & backing for 75% off.
TSUGA has produced some frames, "already made", from the same high quality molding that we use for custom frames. Therefore, an off-the-shelf item can have a custom look, with a discounted price and a time savings as well. Take a look at what we have in stock. Feel free to bring your art or photos to try it out. (Mat selection from in-stock inventory) Artist "Show-And-Tell"starting in September Something new! One evening each month, TSUGA will feature a local artist demonstrating their personal style and techniques. Join us for an hour, 6:30 to 7:30 PM, on the following nights:
- September 25th - Kathy Collins, watercolor
- October 23rd - Jannelle Loewen, pastel
- November 20th - (mystery artist)
