5 Ways A-Board Signs Increase Sales
Submitted by Crossroad Sign A-boards are one of the most impactful, and least expensive, forms of advertising. Also called A-frames or sandwich boards, the Bothell sign code allows every business to use an A-board without a permit. Place yours on the sidewalk outside the entrance any time you are open. Businesses located "upstairs" are also allowed to place an A-board on the sidewalk below. A good A-board can increase your sales five different ways. Motorists and pedestrians see your brand and are reminded about what you do. With an arrow on the A-board, customers locate your storefront more easily and can even learn where to park. With a tagline or topper, an A-board can also promote specials, services and even a sales event.
The investment for an A-board including custom art can run from $95 to as much as $295. It depends on size and the complexity of your graphics. Working here since 2002, Chamber member Crossroad SIGN & Graphics specializes in helping Bothell businesses with signage and graphics, including A-boards, banners, vehicle graphics and permanent signs. Find them online www.CrossroadSIGN.com, on Facebook www.facebook.com/CrossroadSIGN or by phone 425.481.9411.

Kenmore Business Free Seminar Series: "A Great Brand is Great for Business"
Wednesday, June 11 Kenmore Business Free Seminar Series featuring Kenmore Business Incubator Mentors continues on June 11 at 7:00 PM at Kenmore City Hall. "A Great Brand is Great for Business", featuring speaker, Troy Turner, Founder and President of V2 Works. What is a Brand? It's not a logo. It's not an identity. It's not a product. A brand is a person's perception of a product, service or business. This impression is simply based on a customer's gut feeling. People are emotional, intuitive beings, and they are not simply looking to purchase something; they are looking for confirmation of their way of life. Learn what it takes to stand out and be different. During this session we will cover subjects such as: What is a true brand; Why is your brand so important; Brandgineering by Design; Brand Victory. Come Prepared: Get some one on one time with Troy by emailing (Troy@V2Works.com). Send your questions and attach any images before June 9th and he will address them specifically either during the seminar or if you like after the meeting is over. Take advantage of his 30+ years in branding. Register here: http://www.kenmorewa.gov/Page.aspx?cid=3844. View Full Seminar Schedule
