Thursday, April 24
7:30 - 9:00 AM

Join us for the GBCC monthly meeting at the Northshore Senior Center. Socialize, network, get updates from the Chamber and find out what is happening around the community.  New members will have the opportunity to introduce themselves and their business.

As always, our monthly General Meeting is free and no RSVP is required.

Featured Presentation: "Growing your Business Through Team Strengths" by Phil McCallum and Daniel Webb. The asset of your business is your team and your staff. How can we bring out their best performance? The secret is not in fixing up their weaknesses but in bringing out their strengths. The StrengthsFinder 2.0 (developed by Donald Clifton and Gallup) can help you to discover latent potential hidden within you and your team. Drawing from experience of working with staffs both large and small, Phil and Daniel will help you find the tools you need to build your business better through your team.

UWB & Cascadia CC to Host Spring Job & Internship Fair

The first day is for all industries, and the second is reserved for STEM careers. One of the great things about this event is it is targeted to our students so they aren't competing with long-term professionals.

It's also a great time for businesses to connect with interns and those looking to launch their careers. There is still room for employers to participate, and information can be found here: http://www.uwb.edu/careers/events/spring-job-fair-2014 and registration here: http://www.eventbrite.com/e/spring-job-internship-fair-april-23-all-april-24-stem-tickets-4150626636

Please contact ejurmann@cascadia.edu if you have any questions and thank you for all you already do to invest in the lives of UWB and Cascadia students!
