Community News & Announcements: SHOUT OUT!
Great communities are defined by characteristics such as great neighborhoods, safe streets, vibrant businesses, friendly people and excellent schools. We all know and appreciate that Greater Bothell/Kenmore has all of these qualities, which makes our community such a great place to live, work and raise a family. As the Northshore School District Superintendent, I could not ask for a more supportive community that values education, hold high standards for student achievement and supports our efforts to provide a world class education for over 20,000 children each day. And we could not ask for a better community partner than the Greater Bothell Chamber of Commerce. From the Board of Directors down through the membership, the Chamber embraces an important leadership role to enhance all the characteristics of a great community. I have come to appreciate that the Chamber is so much more than just a vehicle to promote local businesses. It is a community asset that serves, promotes, and strengthens the vitality and desirability of this great area. Students across the Northshore School District have tremendous opportunities available to them because of the vision and dedication of organizations such as the Chamber that truly understand what it takes to create and sustain a great community and work tirelessly to that end. Larry Francois, Northshore School District Superintendent.
Please send your announcements, congratulations, testimonials and thank you's to Brittany@bothellchamber.com.

NPACF Presents: Mark Twain on Stage!
Saturday, April 5 7:30 PM Northshore Performing Arts Center on the Bothell High Campus

As Mark Twain noted, "To be good is noble; but to show others how to be good is nobler and no trouble." What other gems will he offer? John Chappell as "MARK TWAIN! On Stage" is more than comedy, more than drama, and way more fun than you can imagine. Mark Twain's stinging commentaries on the human race, on politics, slavery, lying, religion and life are stunningly fresh and blazingly funny. It is a live hilarious recreation of MARK TWAIN himself, in all his wit and wisdom, as you might have seen him 100 years ago. It has audiences laughing at his tall stories, moving from laughter to poignant reflection, occasionally squirming at his savage irony....all the while captivated by a perfect illusion of the living presence of the man himself. Adults: $25, Seniors: $22.50, Youth: $17 Tickets at www.NPACF.org or 425.984.2471.

Dancing with the Northshore Stars - Thank You's!

The NPAC Foundation had a wonderful time bringing Dancing with the Northshore Stars to our stage. Thank you to the dancers (Carmin, Dale, Dusty, Richard, Carol, & Tom) for bravely agreeing to dance, and to our judges: Cheryl, Brittany, and Tom. Lombardi's Italian Restaurants provided/donated a fantastic meal for the participants and there were a lot of dancers to feed! Country Inn & Suites by Carlson provided special rates to the NPACF so that we could house the professionals who trained our dancers for the week AND the additional company members for the performance. (Did you see the one dancer slide under everyone's legs? Lots of dancers!) And Gary Anderson with Northwest Trophy & Awards donated the trophies and stars given to our Northshore Stars. NPACF so appreciates the community members who stepped forward to make this a success AND the Chamber, that greatly promoted the event. Do you want to see the performance? Click here
