NPACF Presents: Tingstad & Rumbel with David Lanz Saturday, January 25 7:30 PM Northshore Performing Arts Center on the Bothell High Campus
Grammy Award winners Eric Tingstad and Nancy Rumbel blend acoustic guitar and wind instruments to bring original and popular music to the stage. They have performed, recorded and toured together for over 24 years with 19 albums to their credit. Nancy was a member of the Paul Winter Consort for several years prior to her move to the Pacific Northwest. Eric grew up in Seattle and attended Western Washington University where he was trained in the Segovian classic guitar tradition.
Pianist David Lanz is known and studied for his unique impressionistic style, which has brought him international recognition and a Grammy nomination. Lanz has a favorite tongue in cheek catchphrase that suits his sound perfectly: "heavy mellow."
