Crossroads Project Road Construction
Signs of change are everywhere in downtown Bothell. Two of the major road projects, the Crossroads Project and the Mulitway Boulevard, are well underway and steadily making progress. Here's what's happening: The Crossroads Project is almost ready to shift traffic to the newly aligned section of SR 522. Major portions of SR 522 will be closed starting at 9:00 PM on August 9 until 5:00 AM August 12 in order to switch traffic to the new roadway alignment. During this time, SR 522 will only have one lane open in each direction from Hall Rd to Kaysner Way. Southbound traffic on NE 180th St will be detoured to 98th Ave NE or Bothell Way NE. Business access will be available during the closures. After the major closures, some construction impacts will continue for the next three months while the City's contractor completes improvements to the north side of SR 522. Side streets and business accesses will remain open. The project is expected to be completed in March 2014. Your continued patience and assistance with revitalizing our downtown community is greatly appreciated. Read more. |
