Harmony Massage & Boutique: Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting!

We've changed! We still have the same great therapists and the same comfortable atmosphere, but over the past couple of months we've been building a Boutique on the Main Street side of our building & expanding our massage facility.

Our boutique features natural, recycled and handmade goods: beautiful, soft bamboo cloth products, a wonderful variety of glass, gourd and wood crafts, hand-made greeting cards, natural soaps--an expanding variety of wonderful earth-friendly products! We've also expanded our delivery space and are able to offer more great massage than ever, with even more convenient scheduling!

Come celebrate with us on July 25th for our Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting! Our Open House will be from 5:30 to 7:30 PM with a Ribbon Cutting ceremony at 6:00 pPM.

Construction Traffic Impacts Around Bothell City Hall
 
Road Construction

 Beginning Monday, July 1, 2013, thru approximately July 26, 2013, 101st Avenue NE in Bothell between NE 183rd and NE 185th Streets will be closed. Traffic will be diverted around the block. Visitors to Bothell City Hall (18305 - 101st Ave. NE) will be directed to a temporary access driveway on NE 183rd Street. Access will be available to the Police Station (18410 101st Ave. NE) from the corner of NE 183rd St. & 101st Ave. NE.

Additionally, NE 183rd Street will be reduced to one lane. Flaggers will be on hand to direct traffic. Drivers are asked to be prepared for short delays.

These closures are necessary as part of a construction project to relocate utilities on the city hall block in preparation for future development.

Backpacks for Kids School Supply Campaign Needs Your Assistance

July 12 - August 2

Northshore School District's 14th annual Backpacks for Kids school supply donation campaign will run July 12 through August 2.  The district is seeking our community's assistance in securing the necessary school supply donations needed to fill over 1,025 backpacks, ensuring every Northshore student the opportunity to begin their school year ready to learn. Local businesses and churches have volunteered to be collection sites during the donation drive. Go to www.nsd.org/backpacks for a complete list of requested school supplies and donation collection sites.

 

Monetary donations, payable to "Backpacks for Kids," can be sent to the Northshore School District Administrative Center, 3330 Monte Villa Parkway, Bothell, WA 98021.  Additionally, Northshore is currently looking for volunteers to help assemble backpacks on Aug. 8. We may not like to think about it ... but how will your affairs be managed if you were suddenly involved in a severe accident which rendered you incapacitated?  Certainly, this is why having  Powers of Attorney in place for both financial and health care issues are so critical.  But just as important is to ensure that the person(s) who has been granted this power knows where the most critical documents and information are kept.  Of course, this may not be an issue if that person is a spouse --- but what if it is a child or family friend?  For that reason, it is recommended that you keep the following documents in one location -- and that the person you have granted Power of Attorney to knows where the information is kept - and how to access it, if necessary.
