We understand that legal advice can be expensive for a start up, so we partnered with Rutgers School of Law to provide pro bono law services for our Community Business Academy grads. Rising Tide Entrepreneurs can work with a law student under the supervision of a professor to receive free legal business advice on contracts, trademarking and choosing the best business model for them.

Last spring, Ishea Neal began taking classes toward her Associate degree in Public Policy using the six free credits offered by the partnership between Saint Peter's University and Rising Tide Capital. After she graduates next September, she plans to return to SPU to receive her Bachelor's degree.

"The six credits was the best thing that could ever happen to me! Two of my mentors told me that in order to truly grow as an entrepreneur and help my community I would need to go back to school. Saint Peter's University was recommended and once they realized I was a CBA graduate, they contacted Rising Tide Capital and the credits were immediately added," Ishea said.
