Five insights to improve health care in our communities based on measurable projects from Detroit and across the U.S.
Robert Wood Johnson Foundation's Aligning Forces for Quality initiative releases a new video on its outcomes
The work of regional health collaboratives across the country -- including in southeast Michigan -- resulted in measurable outcomes. The data has provided five insights to improving health care in our communities, according to the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF), which led Aligning Forces for Quality initiative.

Aligning Forces for Quality has sparked transformation across the country. The five insights are shared in this video.

During RWJF's Aligning Forces for Quality, the Greater Detroit Area Health Council [GDAHC] utilized the designated funding and other resources -- in collaboration with our local partners -- to create the Find MI Care website and mobile app to connect consumers to free and low-cost health care; develop and distribute the Emergency Department "Stoplight" poster and brochure to educate consumers on the appropriate use of the Emergency Room with a goal to reduce overuse; launch and maintain a public reporting website,, to share physician performance with the public; among several other projects.
