Our vision is healthy people, healthy economy.
How do healthy people impact the economy? How do we get there?
Join us next week as we take a major step toward healthy people, healthy economy.
The Greater Detroit Area Health Council (GDAHC) will host our 2015 Annual Meeting on Friday, June 12, 8:30 - 10:30 a.m., at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago - Detroit Branch. The bulk of the meeting will focus on announcing our strategic plan and branding effort, share the outcomes of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation supported initiatives, and feature a keynote presentation by Macomb County Executive Mark Hackel.
We will also conduct the required annual business meeting of the board and membership.
GDAHC executed a thorough review of its organization and the local and national landscape to develop a strategic plan and reinvigorate our brand with a new logo and theme. These aspects will be revealed at the GDAHC 2015 Annual Meeting.
Mr. Hackel will introduce the Macomb County Partners in Health initiative that is led by GDAHC, and will present remarks on the importance of healthy people in thriving communities.
The GDAHC Annual Meeting is free to attend for all Board Members and representatives of dues-paying member organizations. For the first time, we offer a GDAHC Test Drive for representatives of organizations that are considering membership.
A continental breakfast will be served.
