New GCMS Content Available asms

At ASMS a few months ago we hosted three breakfast seminars, where attendees were able to hear from industry leaders about their own victories in the fight against coelution. These presentations exhibit the unique strengths of our GCMS instrumentation in a variety of markets. The recordings of these breakfast seminars have recently become available, head to our website to view the videos: http://www.leco.com/asms2015

Laser Tattoo Removal and GCxGC-TOFMS trends

What role did our PegasusŪ GCxGC-TOFMS play in a study on laser tattoo removal? GCxGC-TOFMS is applied in a wide variety of scientific research, and in this unique study our PegasusŪ GCxGC-TOFMS system was used to investigate the potential risk for pigment cleavage into toxic fragments when tattoos are removed via laser treatment.  Laser treatment is the most common and favored method for tattoo removal, therefore analytical, biokinetics, and toxicological data is required for health safety reasons. You can read the study, Formation of Highly Toxic Hydrogen Cyanide Upon Ruby Laser Irradiation of the Tattoo Pigment Phthalocyanine Blue, and what the group discovered here.
Application Spotlight Appnotes

Our innovative Separation Science instrumentation provides users with solutions for a wide range of applications. We regularly show examples of how our products are winning the fight against coelution through application notes.

Improved Identification of Brand-Distinguishing Analytes in Perfume Samples with GCxGC and HR-TOFMS
In this newly released application note, our PegasusŪ HT, Pegasus 4D, and Pegasus GC-HRT 4D systems were used to determine the individual components within a perfume sample. This information is critical for maintaining quality control and driving product development.  A side-by-side comparison of the data from these three instruments exemplifies their strengths, and shows the user what else is in their samples. See the advantages of each Pegasus instrument by reading the application note here.
