New Automated Shuttle Loader for 836 Series  

LECO's 836 Series Oxygen/Nitrogen/Hydrogen Elemental Analyzer is now available with an optional shuttle loader for seamless, automated sequential or non-sequential processing of 20 pre-weighed samples of inorganic materials, ferrous and nonferrous alloys, and refractory materials. New QAR Anthracite Coal CRMs  

We have added two new QAR (Quality Assurance Resources, LLC) Anthracite Coal Certified  Reference Material (CRM) products to our existing catalog of QAR Coal CRM offerings. QAR Coal CRM certificate values and uncertainties are confirmed and validated by the Quality Associates International, LTD (Canada) Proficiency Testing program (CANSPEX-™), which includes up to 132 coal testing laboratories from around the world.

In addition to total sulfur, ash, mercury, hydrogen, and nitrogen, the CRMs also have certified values for the following parameters: chlorine, fluorine, selenium, and FSI. Informational values for carbon, volatile, and BTU are also provided within the certificate.

New Fly Ash Carbon Concentrate Reference Material

A fly ash carbon concentrate reference material (502-843) is now available with certificate values for Carbon (42.4%), Sulfur (0.29%), and Mercury (0.827 ppm).  This material represents the fly ash by-product of the SonoAsh™ fly ash beneficiation process and can be utilized by either resistance or induction furnace combustion carbon and/or sulfur instruments.
