Presentation Available: Flavor and Off-Flavor Analysis Using GC-TOFMS
In response to many requests, a recording is now available of Ray Marsili's recent e-seminar The Importance of Using GC-TOFMS for Flavor and Off-Flavor Analysis for Packaging-Related Issues.
This presentation gives examples of how often coelution problems can occur when analyzing complex samples like extracts from packaging materials and shows how the Pegasus HT TOFMS can be used to resolve "hidden" peaks, resulting in higher quality spectra and more accurate peak area determinations. In addition to packaging, other examples illustrating the importance of peak deconvolution in flavor/off-flavor analysis for different food samples were presented.
