Technical Seminar Scheduled for Metabolomics Conference
Join LECO for a special technical showcase at the 9th Annual International Conference of the Metabolomics Society. This event takes place on Tuesday, July 2 at noon in the Lomond Theatre of the SECC in Glasgow.
Presentations include:
- New Metabolomics Tools and Applications: A Review of the Latest Developments and News on the HRT (High Resolution Time-of-Flight Mass Spectrometry) Technology from LECO, presented by Dr. Lorne Fell, Product Manager for LECO Separation Science
- Using High Resolution Time-of-Flight Mass Spectrometry for Analysis of Small Molecules, presented by Dr. Oliver Fiehn, Director of the West Coast Metabolomics Center and Professor at the University of California, Davis, Genome Center

High Resolution GC/MS Used to Eliminate Interferences in PAH Analysis
In the latest issue of Analytical Methods, Matyas Ripszam, Peter Haglund (both of Umeå University), and Roman Grabic (of the University of South Bohemia) utilize LECO's Pegasus® GC-HRT to develop a reliable method for trace analysis of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in natural waters sampled using semi-permeable membrane devices.
