Application Breakfast Seminars LECO will once again host a series of breakfast seminars during the conference. We'll start with breakfast each morning at 7 am, and a short presentation will follow. A different application will be presented each morning by a leading field expert, so attend one or all of the seminars! - Monday, June 10 -- Comprehensive Characterization of Petroleum Fractions by Ultra High Resolution ESI-TOF and GCxGC-LRTOF, presented by Dr. Marcos Eberlin of the Thomson Mass Spectrometry Laboratory at the University of Campinas, Brazil
- Tuesday, June 11 -- Chemical Composition of Hydraulic Fracturing (Waste)water, presented by Lisa Strong of the Biotechnology Institute at the University of Minnesota
- Wednesday, June 12 -- High Resolution GC-MS for Metabolomics Applications, presented by Dr. Vladimir V. Tolstikov of Eli Lilly and Company
All seminars take place in Room 200A of the Minneapolis Convention Center. Space is limited, and pre-registration is required. Click here to register
Hospitality Suite
Stop by our Hospitality Suite, located in the Hilton Minneapolis (Duluth ballroom) during the evenings to chat with our experienced staff, and let us show you how LECO instruments can take your complex sample analysis to the next level.

June e-Seminar: Use of GCxGC-MS and GCxGC-HRMS for Comprehensive Characterization of Environmental Samples
Join Peter Haglund of Umeå University for a discussion on GCxGC in the analysis of complex environmental samples. Larger quantities of chemical substances are produced each year by many industries, and the fate and identification of these substances are of increasing concern. The use of GCxGC and mass spectrometry offers the ability to comprehensively identify components in an environmental sample, in contrast to targeted techniques that focus on less important compounds. |

Visit Us at the Metabolomics Society International Conference
Join LECO in Glasgow July 1-4 for the 9th Annual International Conference of the Metabolomics Society. Stop by our booth to learn about our complete Separation Science product line, including a number of new options and packages introduced to meet the challenges of the metabolomics market. Don't miss our technical symposium at noon on Tuesday, July 2. Updates on speakers and registration will be posted shortly here. Applications Spotlight
High Performance Mass Spectrometry of Persistent Organic Pollutants: What Else Is In My Dioxin Sample?
In this application note, LECO's Pegasus® GC-HRT (High Resolution TOFMS) is used for comprehensive analysis of environmental samples. In addition to detecting dioxins, analytes belonging to other classes of persistent organic pollutants (POPs) are identified. Click here to view the entire application note |
