 Consumables Corner By Becky Humbarger, Technical Inside Sales Representative A polishing film with diamond particles bonded into evenly-wearing spheres that will provide a 3- or 1-micron polish multiple samples before it needs to be replaced. Does that sound too good to be true? That's exactly what you get when you select FeStar and LeStar polishing films. FeStar polishing film will polish carbon steels of any hardness to a 3-micron polish, and can polish several samples before it needs to be replaced. LeStar polishing film will polish cemented carbide, ceramic, and similar materials to a 1-micron polish, and you can polish dozens of samples before replacing it.  These films have PSA backing, so they are easy to apply. They need only water as a lubricant, and they can be used for either hand-polishing or automatic. Save time and get great results.
