Nearly 2,000 Students, Parents, and Educators Attend 

Student Leadership Conference  

Atlanta, GA

An estimated 1,985 students, parents, and educators attended the 15th Annual Latino Youth Leadership Conference, sponsored by the Latin American Association and co-sponsored by USHLI. The Conference was hosted by The Westminster Schools in Atlanta, GA.  

The Conference featured nationally prominent motivational speaker, Dr. Victor Rios, a highly regarded speaker and trainer and a favorite among students of all ages from middle school to college as well as professionals. 

The SLS is USHLI's flagship youth program. The program is designed to motivate students to improve their academic performance, graduate and pursue some level of post-secondary education. An estimated 126,469 have been served to date this year in 18 states and Washington, DC.
