Approximately 1,300 Students and Educators Attend Student Leadership Series Event in Illinois

USHLI partnered with Simmons Middle School in bringing the Student Leadership Series to Aurora, IL.  An estimated 1,352 students and educators attended the event.  USHLI is very grateful for the local leadership and cooperation provided in organizing and hosting this event.

The event featured nationally prominent motivational speaker, Jimmy Cabrera, a very popular favorite among students of all ages from middle school to college as well as educators.

The SLS is USHLI's flagship youth program. The program is designed to motivate students to improve their academic performance, graduate and pursue some level of post-secondary education. An estimated 108,845 have been served to date this year in 17 states.
