USHLI's Student Leadership Series (SLS) continued its fall campaign with a successful series of events in Tucson, in partnership with the Sunnyside School District.  A career and college recruitment fair was held at Desert View High School and student assemblies were held at Apollo, Challenger, Chaparral, Sierra, and Lauffer middle schools, and Star Academy Center.  A parent leadership program was also held at Sunnyside High School.  A total 6,600 students, parents, and educators were impacted through these events.  USHLI is very grateful to the principals and counselors of all the schools for their leadership and support.  USHLI is especially grateful to NJ Utter, Sunnyside School District College Readiness Director, for her tireless efforts in organizing and planning this series of events.
