METAS Conference

USHLI's Student Leadership Series (SLS) continued its fall campaign with a successful partnership with Purdue University Calumet. The METAS Conference was attended by parents, teachers, and over 200 students representing eight high schools in Northwest Indiana. USHLI is very grateful to Regina Biddings-Muro, Vice Chancellor, Advancement and the entire leadership team at Purdue Calumet University for the opportunity to be a partner again this year.
The featured speakers were Lina Traslaviña Stover and Robert Renteria.
SLS participating schools will see their students become better motivated, more involved in class and extracurricular activities, more determined to succeed academically and in life, and better prepared to enter the workforce. Over 104,835 students, parents, and teachers in 23 states and Washington, DC have been served this year.
