USHLI Partners with Prosser Career Academy in Student Leadership Series Event Attended by an Estimated 750 Students and Teachers

USHLI's Student Leadership Series (SLS) continued its fall campaign with a successful event in Chicago, in partnership with Prosser Career Academy. USHLI is very grateful to Kenneth L. Hunter, Principal, Dr. Karen Lusbourgh, Assistant Principal, Jeffery S. Bates, Admissions/ Community Outreach Coordinator, and the Prosser Career Academy team for the opportunity to be a partner again this year.
The featured nationally prominent speaker featured was April Hernandez- Castillo, best known for her leading role in the movie "Freedom Writers".
SLS participating schools will see their students become better motivated, more involved in class and extracurricular activities, more determined to succeed academically and in life, and better prepared to enter the workforce. Over 89,928 students, parents, and teachers in 22 states and Washington, DC have been served this year.
