Over 1,500 Students and Teachers Attend Student Leadership Events in Reno

USHLI's Student Leadership Series (SLS) continued its fall campaign with two successful events in Reno. Student assemblies were held at Traner Middle School and Vaughn Middle School. A total of 1,575 students were impacted through these events. USHLI is very grateful to Ms. Sheryl Hicks, Gear UP Program Counselor, and the school principals who helped organize these events.
Our nationally prominent motivational speaker was Jimmy Cabrera, CSP.
SLS participating schools will see their students become better motivated, more involved in class and extracurricular activities, more determined to succeed academically and in life, and better prepared to enter the workforce. Over 51,306 students, parents, and teachers in 19 states have been served this year.
