The featured speakers were Consuelo Castillo Kickbusch, one of the most highly regarded motivational speakers in the nation, and Ernesto Mejia, a powerful and effective speaker from Chicago.

This was our 52nd SLS event of 2012, bringing the total number of students, parents, and professionals served to 58,626   in  23  states.   The next stops for the Student Leadership Series are El Paso, TX (12/10), and Tucson, AZ (12/10-15).

The primary goal of the Student Leadership Series is to ensure that every Latino family has a student that is one of the following: the 1st student to graduate high school; the 1st student to enroll in post-secondary education or training; the 1st student to graduate post-secondary education or training.
