Approximately 350 leaders of child-focused non-profit organizations, elected officials, advocates, researchers, students, and community leaders attended the National Latino Children's Institute Summit held last weekend in Phoenix, AZ. Representing the NLCI were the Chair of the Board Rita Jaramillo, Executive Director Josephine Garza, and the Summit Chair and eLatina Voices Founder Olga Aros. The event was held at the University of Arizona's Virginia Piper Auditorium.
The theme of the Summit was "ACTION NOW: Keeping the Promise of a Brighter Future for Latino Children."
