rabbi bob This week Israel celebrated Yom Ha'atzmaut, its 66th Independence Day. In America we observe Memorial Day in May and then our Independence in July. In Israel these two days follow one after the other. Read more here.

  • Sisterhood Mah Jongg at the synagogue resumed on May 5 at 7:30 PM and will continue through the summer. Read more here.

  • Seniors Sponsored Program- The Lunch and Learn group invites you to lunch and the movie "Imaginary Witness: Hollywood and the Holocaust", Wednesday, May 21. Read more here.

  • Cards & Tiles- Congregants and their friends have been gathering at Pinstripes on Thursday afternoons for lunch and games. Read more here.

It's hard to believe that we only have one week of school left. I owe a gratitude of debt to our wonderful teachers who come every week to volunteer their time to teach the young members of Etz Chaim. Read more here.



  • Shabbat Chaverim- Our next Shabbat Chaverim will THIS Friday morning, May 9 at 10:00 AM. This program is for young children and a parent/guardian. Each session we do a craft, have play time, music with Cindy Michelassi and, of course a snack. We recite the Shabbat blessings and then have challah and juice.
