  • Social Action Food Drive- Please consider donating food from your kitchen as you prepare for Passover. There will be a collection box in the lobby from Monday, March 17 - Friday, April 11. Food will be donated to the Glen Ellyn Food Pantry. The pantry has matched to help end hunger through the Feinstein Foundation. 
SCHOOL & YOUTH ACTIVITIES
  • Shabbat Chaverim- Our next Shabbat Chaverim will be Friday morning, March 28 at 10:00 AM. This program is for young children and a parent/guardian. Each session we do a craft, have play time, music with Cindy Michelassi and, of course a snack. We recite the Shabbat blessings and then have challah and juice.
  • OSRUI Scholarships- Campers who wish to receive a scholarship to OSRUI from the Robert Scott Samuels Fund need to write a letter to the Youth Committee. Scholarships are awarded for: 
    Chalutzim- $400.00  
    Regular Sessions- $300.00  
    Atid- $100.00

    The deadline is Sunday, April 1, 2014 
    Additional scholarships based on need are available from the Jeremy Bruder Scholarship Fund. Please speak to one of the Rabbis or Anne to apply for a confidential, need based scholarship.
CONGREGATIONAL LIFE
  • Congregational Seder- This year's Congregational seder will be held on Tuesday evening, April 15 at 6:00 PM. Everyone is invited to attend our communal celebration of this special holiday. Read more here. Registration form here.
  • Congregational Retreat- Please join us for the annual Congregational Retreat at OSRUI. The 2014 Retreat will be held the weekend of May 2-4 in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. Read more here.
