THIS WEEK:
School Site Council (SSC) - Ballots Due
Monday, October 20
Please print out, review and fill out the current Bancroft School Site Council Ballot for Bancroft parent membership. SSC bylaws require that there be at least 10 members of the School Site Council made of up 5 teacher/staff members and 5 parents. Mr. Miguel Espana has been nominated for one of the open parent memberships on the School Site Council. This leaves us with one parent vacancy still to be filled. Please consider either nominating yourself or encouraging a fellow parent to do so. Please send in your ballot by October 20, 2014. Thank you.

Calling all cake decorators! It's that time of year when Bancroft families create ghoulishly delectable works of art! We will be hosting a cake decorating contest the day before Fall Fest. Cakes can be made and decorated by both children and adults. It's a howling fun time for the entire family! Prizes will be given out to the top 3 decorated cakes. Please drop off your edible art on Friday, October 24th between 7:45 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.

We also need baked or store bought cakes, cookies, brownies, cupcakes, rice krispie treats or whatever your specialty is in order to make the cake walk game a success! For more information or if you can help on the day of the contest, please contact Kriss Bridgham.

Note that the proceeds from the Fall Fest goes to help offset the 5th Grade Outdoor School Program for next year's 5th graders. So come support the 4th grade class!
