West, Texas Community Strong in Relief Efforts
In response to the devastating fertilizer plant explosion that occurred on April 17 in West, Texas the Aidmatrix team immediately activated our technology for use by the State Emergency Management Services for donations management. We were working in our own back yard as a community member of the Texas Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (VOAD) to administer the response program and coordinate communications. In addition, we deployed Aidmatrix team to West to help provide care for the people directly impacted by this devastating disaster.

CARE Djibouti Commodity Tracking System Project Implementation
Aidmatrix and CARE partnered together to enhance CARE's Commodity Tracking System (CTS), leveraging the SCM4Good™ platform, thanks to support from the UPS Foundation. At a recent workshop in Thailand, 4 CARE country offices convened to discuss the CTS and its successful implementation in three locations in Djibouti. Funded through the generous support of UPS, CARE has worked with Aidmatrix to create a system to help country offices track their inventory in a standardized manner. The system enables CARE to have global visibility of inventory around the world and know its value. The system is currently being used to track CARE's prepositioned emergency items, inventory in Haiti, Zimbabwe and Djibouti with plans to implement in Kenya and Chad later this year.
