Sandy Doctors Recovery Project Underway:
Medical Items Needed
The Sandy Doctors Recovery Project is working to assess needs and provide medical equipment to 50 medical clinics serving low-income, immigrant communities in Sandy-torn Brighton Beach, Staten Island and Coney Island. Reopening these practices will allow over 25,000 New Yorkers to receive medical care in their local neighborhoods. The program is seeking donations from the medical community-most critically needed items include exam tables, wall mounted oto/opthoscopes, exam lights, ekgs, wall mounted bp cuffs and exam stools. These donations are being managed using Aidmatrix' SCM4Giving platform.
