It's Cool Here!

No...this is not a staged photo, it's the amazing view from the beautiful and COOL Long Beach Convention Center, site of the Specialty Advertising Association (SAAC) Show. In the background is the famous Queen Mary, Long Beach Harbor and Shoreline Village.
Inside the convention center over the past two days, suppliers and distributors met like most trade shows, but much more happened. I've served on the SAAC Show Committee and I know that we worked diligently to create an "experience". And we were successful!
From the PromoKitchen Party, to a waterside mixer featuring the Industry All Star Band and the incredible ZOOMcatalog Party at Sargent Peppers, Long Beach was rocking! Attendees were treated to a California tradition...the much beloved In and Out Burger, courtesy of SAAC.
In addition to engaging social events, informative Sizzling Supplier Sessions and mentoring provided by a few PromoKitchen Chefs business happened on the show floor. To the left we feature a few of the Sizzling Sessions that were offered. See what's hot from these suppliers! We encourage you to see what their lines offer and use them when you can. These are companies that are supporting the SAAC Show and their education program.
This was a very productive couple of days. For those who missed it, next year, get out of the heat wherever you are and attend the SAAC Show. It's COOL here!

Article titles and content sometimes come to me in the strangest ways.
This one came to me as I was enjoying the cool weather outside the Long Beach Convention Center, as the SAAC Show was about to begin.
Some of you may not be familiar with the Little River Band's classic song Cool Change, but it was a Top 10 hit in 1980. OK, I'm old. This is odd because I haven't thought about this song for many years. It was a hit record. Remember records? If you remember this song, I should probably apologize for the earworm I just gave you. Earworm: A song that sticks in your mind, and will not leave no matter how much you try. The best way to get rid of an earworm is to replace it with another. Be prepared to become a jukebox.
