New Course In Safety
Many of our former students have commented,  "it would be great for my manager to hear this..."
but we know getting those who supervise mobile crane operations to take 3 days and attend an operator course would not consider this an effective use of their time.

That's why we developed a new 1-day Mobile Crane Safety for Managers course that covers important areas of knowledge for all levels of management.  Mobile crane safety is not the sole responsibility of the operator; management has their own set of responsibilities. This program is geared to crane owners, crane users, operations managers, site supervisors, safety and insurance professionals, training and purchasing managers, and lift directors--providing a basic understanding of key concepts of crane safety to help mitigate risk and create a more reliable job site.

For more information on this class or to register visit www.cranetech.com/mcsm or call Sherri @ 800.521.7669. Mention this post and receive $50 off registration for this course*.

*Cannot be combined with other promotions, registration must occur by Feb 29, 2016

Crane Tech Tip of the Week

When inspecting sheaves and drums look for signs of corrugation in the grooves.

Sometimes you will see the rope pattern in a build up of improper lubricants, but if you see the rope pattern worn into the drum or sheave material itself, this is a serious deficiency. The worn grooves will dramatically damage the wire rope and possibly cause rope failure if left unchecked.
