What Our Clients Say

"I feel Crane Tech training is detailed and extremely informative which helps us at Certified Slings understand the day to day issues that arise when riggers are out in the field. The hands on portion of the training shows real world scenarios with an assortment of objects to give riggers the opportunity to apply what they learned in the classroom. I urge anyone in the rigging field to attend Crane Tech training. It is imperative to be educated when working in this industry."

Crane Tech Tip of the Week

When elevating personnel with a forklift, always use a platform approved by the equipment manufacturer.

In the left-hand photo a manufacturer-approved platform is attached where the fork would normally be attached. It has proper handrails, midrails, toeboards, access gates, fall arrest tie-off points, etc.

The photo on the right was captured by one of our field instructors, as an example of what NOT to do. Not only is this an unsafe act but also since it appears to be on the job, it is an OSHA violation. If an OSHA compliance officer happened to drive by and witness this act, you put your company at risk of a serious citation and costly fines.
