Practicing What We Teach
We would like to believe that super heroes are alive and well, but at Crane Tech we are not leaving safety to chance. In other words, we practice what we teach.

Before any hands-on training at our Training Center or a client site, our instructors are required to assemble those involved and perform a Job Safety Analysis (JSA).

Crane Tech

Tip of the Week

Adjustable chain slings are often used to help a non-symmetrical load remain level when lifting. These slings may be made with either a standard grab hook or a specialty grab hook.

If the sling has a standard grab hook, it will have a 20% reduction in capacity when shortened.

If a specialty hook-such as a cradle grab hook, chain shortener link, or one that is specially manufactured for adjusting chain sling length is used, the capacity of the sling is not reduced when shortened.

"Your training was very good. I enjoyed the class and will utilize its elements to train our folks on how to safely use our cranes."
