Crane Tech has immediate openings for experienced crane operators, who are passionate and capable of sharing knowledge and providing the highest quality training and inspection services available in our field. Come join the oldest and most trusted name in the material handling training industry! 

In support of our clients, only applicants with major experience in crane operations and materials handling will be considered. Applicants must be prepared for a multi-day interview process (at Crane Tech's expense) where you will demonstrate knowledge and skill at our training centers. The ability to articulate training topics and the willingness to provide programs according to Crane Tech's specifications are critical to success with our company.
 
Instructors travel extensively throughout the United States (approx 80%) and there is no relocation required. All travel expenses incurred in the performance of Crane Tech functions are paid through a company credit card. Crane Tech only employs full time staff and will not consider contract trainers. Position includes a competitive compensation package with benefits.

Requirements:
  • Applicants must have minimum of 15 years of crane and rigging experience.
  • Applicants must have extensive mobile crane operating experience; over 15 years of telescopic and lattice boom operator experience is preferred.
  • Applicants must have mobile crane NCCCO certification. NCCCO certification in rigging and signal person is preferred.
  • Possession of NCCCO Practical Examiner status is a plus, but for the right applicant Crane Tech will pay the costs of obtaining these credentials.
  • Applicants should have knowledge in other material handling equipment; hands-on experience with forklifts, aerial lifts, and overhead cranes, etc. is preferred.
  • Applicants should have knowledge in equipment inspections; detailed hands-on inspection experience is a plus.
  • Previous training/instructional experience is not required, but applicant must possess willingness to learn instructional techniques and have a passion for the safety and well being of workers.
  • Applicants should have previous supervisory experience; a prior management role with safety instruction job duties (i.e. giving safety talks or presentations) is preferred.
  • Applicants should have basic computer skills (E-mail, Microsoft Word, etc.)
  • Applicants should have problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Applicants must be able to read, write and understand the English language. Bilingual (English/Spanish) would be a plus.
  • Applicants should be able to write reports and job summaries.
