Crane Tech to Host the Winter
NCCCO WEMC Meeting - February 2015



For the 11th year, Crane Tech will host the NCCCO Written Examination Management Committee winter meeting in St. Petersburg, Florida.  Committee members from Wisconsin, New Jersey, California, Texas, Maine, West Virginia, Kentucky, and other states will enjoy mild Florida weather while working on NCCCO test items.

Mobile Crane Operator  

"For Operators and Trainers"  

        

Mobile Crane Operator Training is designed for operators, trainers, safety personnel and supervisors for all types of Mobile Cranes.  Training thoroughly covers cranes regulated by OSHA, MSHA and ASME B30.5.  You will learn critical elements that include: operational characteristics, load charts, proper set-up, use of jibs and extensions, load indicating devices, crane stability, structural competence, pre-use inspections, hazard awareness, power line hazards, operator responsibilities, job planning and all with extensive workshop interaction.

 

This program is an excellent way to prepare operators before they attend the NCCCO Certified Mobile Crane Operator program.

Overhead Crane Operator

"For Operators & Trainers"

 

Upon completion of the course, the student will fully understand the hazardous nature of a variety of hoisting activities and be familiar with the requirements necessary to avoid unplanned occurrences and accidents.  

     

This training is accomplished in accordance with applicable OSHA regulations, ASME and CMAA standards, manufacturers requirements and recommendations, and accepted safe hoisting practices.

This program provides you with the knowledge and skills to complete periodic overhead crane inspections.  The knowledge gained in this program will ensure safety and reliability for the cranes inspected.

This program is based on OSHA Regulations, ASME Standards, CMAA references and industry wide consensus.  The major topics you will learn are:
