Rigging Gear Inspector  

 

 

This program is compliance based in accordance with OSHA, MMS, ASME and API regulations and how to research these regulations.  Students attending this program learn hands-on how to inspect and document all the deficiencies found on a variety of rigging gear such as:
  • wire rope slings
  • chain slings
  • synthetic web slings
  • synthetic round slings
  • shackles
  • eye bolts
  • swivel hoist rings
  • hooks
  • come-a-longs
  • plate and beam clamps
  • spreader bars
  • plus a variety of specialty lifting items

This training program includes a wide variety of slings and rigging components with varying degrees of deficiencies. This technical training combined with extensive hands-on instruction ensures you have the knowledge and skills required to perform comprehensive rigging equipment inspections.
