Presented by: Bo Collier, Owner and President, Crane Tech LLC

Sponsored by: Association of Equipment Manufactures (AEM)

The best intentions have little to do with a quality end product if the proper infrastructure is not in place. Delve into the behind-the-scenes work of developing policies, procedures, and methods necessary to ensure that information provides a positive change for those who require training.

Learning Objectives:
1. Determine and limit a learning scope.
2. Develop procedures and methods that ensure the learning scope is achieved.
3. Develop and implement quality control measures.

AEMP 32nd Management Conference and Annual Meeting

Prior to the start of ConExpo, the Association of Equipment Management Professionals (AEMP) held their annual meeting. One of their guest panel speakers was Crane Tech President and Owner, Bo Collier. Bo sat on the "New OSHA Crane Regulations: Better to be Safe than Cited" panel.

Bo and the other panel member discussed:
1. Crane types and activities OSHA considered "in scope" and "out of Scope" of the regulation
2. Who in a company needs to be trained in crane operations, rigging and signaling.
3. Why OSHA delayed implementation of the final rule and what that means for operations

AEMP is a sponsor of ConExpo.
