A&M-Kingsville Opens Center for Negotiations     
KINGSVILLE (KIII NEWS)

The art of negotiating taking center stage over at Texas A&M-Kingsville on Monday. The University opened the Center For Negotiations. The facility is not only for undergraduate and graduate students, but really anyone who wants to be better at negotiating. The center will offer a variety of workshops and seminars.

The center is in the Business Administration Building on campus. It is the only center of it's kind in the State.

CBA Moves towards AACSB Accreditation   
The trajectory to higher accreditation continues

Earning AACSB accreditation is a multi-stage, multi-year process that involves engagement with various accreditation committees, an accreditation mentor, a staff liaison, and peer review team. Dr. Knight Moves into the Research Spotlight    
Stretching the boundaries of research

Dr. Michael Knight joined Texas A&M University-Kingsville in the fall of 2015. Knight has a Ph.D. in Business Administration from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale in Organizational Behavior - Strategy & Leadership and Management Information Systems. Knight has certification from Harvard Business School and a Commercial Pilot's License with Instrument Rating.  Read more about this article.

CBA Offers a Certificate of Facility Management  
Joint certificate expands opportunities for students

Business students can earn a Certificate of Facility Management starting fall 2017. Facility operations and management is a growing field. Currently, from a business standpoint, facility management is generally the second most costly item for a business, behind employee salaries. Business plans and facility operation strategies often compete for financial resources. Discussions with engineers have revealed a need for basic business skills. The 12-hour undergraduate certificate introduces a multi-disciplinary approach to facility management. Students of any discipline are eligible for the certificate.
