LLS International Summer School 2016
CBA students participate in study abroad program
Globalization is one of the buzzwords that floats through classrooms of business and law schools around the world. However, for many students it stays a rather illusionary and abstract concept until they get the opportunity to experience other cultures and get the chance to realize that the existence of world brands, such as Coca Cola and McDonald's, does not necessarily mean that we are all the same. The German and American participants of the LLS International Summer School get this opportunity, and the eagerness to learn from each other's cultures is always stunning. All of them understand and live the longstanding motto of the program: "Nothing's better, nothing's worse, just different!" Read more about this article. |

Leadership Camp Makes an Impact!
Middle school students attend day camp of fun & learning
The College of Business Administration hosted a Business Leadership Camp on Thursday, June 9th. This one-day free camp was open to middle school students who had an interest in pursuing a career in business. CBA faculty and Executive in Residence, Ms. Ricki Cunningham, led sessions from goal-setting to career exploration. Seventeen students, ranging in age from 11-13 and representing several area schools, participated in the camp. The college was excited to showcase the university by offering a campus tour and engage students in learning activities set in a college classroom. Students enjoyed seeing a dorm room, learning about what to expect in college and taking a closer look at who they were and what career they wanted to pursue as an adult.
