Chelsea Williams Serves Internship at USDA
Senior Fulfills Internship through HACU in Iowa
Finance major Chelsea Williams had a rich opportunity to internship with the USDA Farm Service Agency in Des Moines, Iowa. Her internship was offered through the HACU International Internship Program. "The experience I gained with the USDA Farm Service agency will be of great use in my career. The culture in the office and Des Moines environment not only gave me an insight of the work field post college, but also an awesome opportunity to experience a different life experience outside of Texas. I quickly learned the value of networking and how to make opportunities available at any moment. Choosing to take off a semester for school in order to gain valuable life and career experience is one of the best choices I've made in my college career. I highly recommend others to take advantage of such an opportunity if offered a chance," Williams said. |
