We're very excited to announce a new addition to our faculty, Dr. Michael Knight, who has a Ph.D. in Business Administration from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale in Organizational Behavior - Strategy & Leadership and Management Information Systems.  Enrollment in the CBA continues to climb Retention rate also improves
For the second consecutive semester, the College of Business of Administration has experienced a double-digit increase in enrollment. Figures show 569 students enrolled for the fall semester, a 10 percent increase over last year, according to university enrollment reports. There are 481 undergraduate students and 88 graduate students attending classes in the college this fall. Read more about this article.

Finals are over. Bags are packed. Dirty laundry is ready for Mom's touch. It's time for the typical college student to head home after a tough semes- ter away at school. Time to see old friends, stay out late and sleep in. But it is the smart and ambitious college student that heads from those tough finals, straight into an internship in their chosen field. Marianne Fowler Duthu Scholarship Endowment Announced
Dedicated to first-generation students A new scholarship will be available for business students beginning fall 2016. The Texas A&M University-Kingsville Foundation has announced the establishment of the Marianne Fowler Duthu '71 scholarship endowment in the College of Business Administration. Her husband, David, established this endowment in honor of alumna Duthu's birthday. It will provide scholarship assistance to first-generation students pursuing a business education.

 Golf Tournament Winner Announced
Supporting Student Scholarships
The College of Business Administration at Texas A&M University-Kingsville held its inaugural Golf Tournament at the L.E. Ramey Golf Course Sept. 12. Seven teams competed and over $5,000 was raised to support scholarships for business students. The first place team represented Embroidme. Shown from left, are Don Sutton, Greg Del Bosque and David Newman.
