CBA Enrollment Update
 
Over the last eighteen months, coordinated student recruiting efforts between the Office of Enrollment Management and Office of Admission, Center for Student Success, College of Business Administration faculty, staff and administration, together with financial support from the Office of the Provost, resulted in a significant increase in undergraduate and graduate enrollment and student credit hours (SCH) in the College of Business Administration this spring. Undergraduate enrollment has risen 12% from two years ago. The college continues its active graduate and undergraduate recruitment efforts.

Delta Sigs Attend LEAD Conference in Oklahoma City to Focus on Educational Development
 
Members of the Zeta Nu Chapter of Delta Sigma Pi attended the LEAD Conference in Oklahoma City, OK on February 13-15, 2015. The Leadership and Excellence Academies for Delta Sigs (LEAD) focus on educational development of all members of the Fraternity. LEAD provides opportunities for members to maximize their potential in areas of personal, professional, leadership and fraternal development.

College of Business Administration to Host Fifth Annual Community Breakfast
The Texas A&M University-Kingsville College of Business Administration will host their Fifth Annual Community Breakfast at 7:30 a.m. Thursday, March 5, in the ballrooms of the Memorial Student Union Building. The event is co-hosted by the Kleberg County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and the Kingsville Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by IBC Bank.

Business Faculty Member Named One of Corpus Christi's Top 40 Under 40
Valerie Bartelt, assistant professor of information systems in the College of Business Administration at Texas A&M University-Kingsville, was named one of Corpus Christi's Top 40 Under 40.

Dr. Bartelt has been at Texas A&M-Kingsville for four years. She serves as co-principal investigator for a Health Resources and Services Administration grant worth more than $750,000. She also is the director of operations at the Health Information Network of South Texas, an organization based in Corpus Christi whose mission involves electronically connecting the South Texas healthcare community.  Read more about this article.
