We are looking forward to welcoming Dr. Sale's knowledge, experience and expertise to our college to continue our trajectory towards higher accreditation and increased enrollment.

CBA Enrollment Efforts Kick Off this Semester

CBA Lecturer Harmeet Singh reaches out to potential students through our new telephone marketing campaign.
Enrollment initiatives are in full swing. This spring we have been busy traveling around the state and visiting with prospective students. Representatives from our college have visited Deer Park High School, Stephen F. Austin High School, Aldine McArthur High Schools, Brownsville ISD, the Hispanic Forum Career and Education, the Houston National College Fair and the South Texas Expo in Kingsville and the Grand Rio Valley.

The College of Business Administration currently has 605 student applicants for fall 2014. The College partnered with the Office of Admissions in the evening of March 6 for the first faculty calling campaign. This session allowed faculty to directly reach out to more than 250 prospective students for the upcoming Fall 2014 semester.  Faculty conversed with students about the college and the classes they taught, and invited students to stop by their offices during a campus visit.  In addition, we have begun an email marketing campaign in conjunction with the Office of Admissions that will reach many potential students with personal messages from the dean and faculty members. We expect our committed efforts to translate into higher enrollment for the fall semester.
