TEALarbor stories'
mission is to compassionately support people as they discover & convey through writing their deepest stories.

Greetings!
This has been a year of great blessings for TEALarbor stories and for me, personally. Among all those things for which I am grateful, were the opportunities in 2015 to:
  • directly offer ongoing sessions of one-on-one writing mentorship, life transition support, story and nature guiding, and mediation services to wonderful clients in ten countries, including the Central Pacific island nation of Kiribati
  • edit book manuscripts conveying the deep personal stories people found the courage to write and to edit countless professional, scholarly, and shorter personal documents for my clients
  • bear witness to the publication of clients' full-length books
  • add new workshops venues in several states
  • guide and hold the container week by week for the birth of intimate, transformative, powerful books by dear, persevering clients who are in the drafting homestretch
  • present at several major venues including the local Association for Dispute Resolution of Northern California (writing and peacemaking) and the international Parliament of the World's Religions (writing and spirituality), totaling new exposure of TEALarbor stories' work to more than ten thousand people
  • receive invitations to present TEALarbor stories' work early in 2016, including from San Francisco Community Boards (the oldest public conflict resolution center in the U.S.) and hosted by the esteemed JAMS (the largest private conflict resolution center in the U.S.) at the Embarcadero Center
  • collaborate with nonprofits to offer TEALarbor stories' services in 2016 to groups nationally and internationally, including academic institutions, conservation organizations, centers for healing, peacemaking and social justice groups, spiritual and religious centers
  • develop online curriculum for a global audience, the first course of which will likely open for registration in winter 2016 through the Charter for Compassion Education Institute
  • sit for interviews about my professional and community service work with hospice patients and families in grief
  • finish the draft of my current book manuscript focused on TEALarbor stories' work using nature-based practices to sustain balance in life and writing
This partial summary I offer so that you, the faithful reader of this newsletter, can see the invaluable work of deep storying that you support by participating in TEALarbor stories' offerings.

You have helped make TEALarbor stories a huge success in 2015 through your encouragement, attention, participation, support, kindness, and open-heartedness. I send to you abundant thanks with a very full, joyous, and peaceful heart. I very much look forward to what we can co-create in 2016.

May the upcoming holy days offer to you great love, abiding friendship, wellbeing of body and spirit, and a felt sense of our inherent interconnection that already is with all beings. Winter Solstice is upon us - the return of light after a long night of darkness. Light a candle for someone you love. And I will light one for you.

Blessings,
Jennifer Wilhoit, Writing Mentor Guide Mediator
