Greetings!
This month heralds my beloved autumn and for this I am eternally grateful. I begin to feel the excitement of soon-to-turn-inward days: the steadiness of the routines of fall, a comforting return to quietude as vacations wane and children return to school, the promise of renewal that comes on the breath of the wind.
Things are changing rapidly at TEALarbor stories, too. It is with the same youthful anticipation that I felt as a girl returning to school in September that I now embark on new professional opportunities that coincide with this academic year. Exciting collaborations, expanded offerings, innovative modes of delivery of the services that help people explore their inner/outer landscapes, write with fluidity, finish projects, traverse difficult situations; details will be updated in these newsletters in the "News & Updates," "Workshops & Events," and "Did You Know" boxes below. Check out what's new now...
May this season of change grace you with refreshing breezes, a falling away of what no longer serves, and the beauty to continue on the path of your fiery calling!
Blessings,
Jennifer Wilhoit, Writing Mentor, Guide, Mediator

Spotlight: Seasons of Change in Writing & in Life
|
I recently sat with a woman in distress. As I helped to hold the space of support and guidance, I remembered how crucial it is that we feel empowered - perhaps especially when things on which we rely are crumbling around us, as we begin to soften in the falling debris of these structures.
One thing that helps shift a crisis is the ability to see the small steps we can take. We don't need to tackle the whole situation at once. Tiny changes can have a profound impact leading to transformation of conflict or loss. And often that next step takes the form of giving up something that doesn't serve us well anymore.
What attitude, task, constraint, problem are you willing to release in order to better focus on your passionate work? Write down a few of these items. Just as the fiery leaves naturally and softly are released from the branch so the tree can live through winter, so too we gently let things fall away so we are able to thrive.
Please email to learn more about how TEALarbor stories can support you as you move forward with your writing projects, as you traverse a life transition, or as you face a difficult situation of conflict.
