 Mark 8:36
For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world, and forfeit his soul?
Our children are recipients of our culture's most sophisticated marketing and hyper focus on shaping their spending habits and personal values. All families need to pro-actively seize this moment because everyone wins when we have a balanced diet of healthy money habits based on a simple values-based philosophy: Share/Save/Spend.
For the next three Sundays from 9:15 - 10:00 am we are offering the renowned, three-part "Share/Save/Spend" classroom series. By following its practical road map for instilling your children with a sense of financial responsibility for their lifetime, you will see results of decreased materialism and increased self-esteem.
Nathan Dungan's "Share/Save/Spend" curriculum is for parents, grandparents, and other adults wishing to think about money in our lives, particularly focusing on how we are passing along values and habits to the next generation.
The class will have opportunities for small group discussion and personal reflection for adults wanting to regain a healthy and comforting view of money in their own lives and family budgets. Older children and youth are particularly welcome to attend the class, hopefully with parents or grandparents in tow. Young parents: come and learn ways you can pass along sound and faithful fiscal practices as your children grow up.
Adult and youth participant guides are $8 each. I invite you to CLICK HERE to register and purchase your workbook.
