The Oakwood Team is Growing!!
We are happy to announce that Oakwood Escrow's team is growing and we have a new escrow officer,
Patty Hopper!!
Patty Hopper has been in the escrow industry for over 20 years and has been an escrow officer since 1998.
She specializes in resale transactions, refinances, short sales, REO's, reverse mortgages and private money. Patty is meticulous with the many details and layers of her escrow transactions. She delivers customized service, a personable experience and closes her transactions in a timely manner.
Patty has 3 grown boys, lives in Ramona and loves it! Patty and her boyfriend enjoy spending time in the desert with friends and being adventurous on their desert toys. Patty loves being an escrow officer and is excited about the opportunities that lie ahead at Oakwood Escrow.

SECOND INSTALLMENT PROPERTY TAXES DUE FEBRUARY 1ST
Delinquent April 10th
If you currently have a seller due to close escrow ON OR BEFORE APRIL 10TH who has not yet paid their Second Installment Property Taxes, please advise that it is in their best interest to pay their tax installment through escrow and NOT to send payment directly to the Tax Assessor.
If payment is made directly to the Tax Assessor and receipt is not posted prior to close date, funds could be held pending in verification of cleared payment.

VALENTINE'S DAY TIPS
1. A Valentine's card, whether it's cute, classy, traditional or tacky, is considered the
most important item to receive on Valentine's Day - don't neglect such a simple touch! Upload photographs through an online service to make it extra special.
2. Personal grooming should be a given- but a bit of effort (a nice new shirt/haircut/cologne) will not go unnoticed and get you extra brownie points.
3. Take a step beyond those sweet little candy hearts and give your sweetie a long lasting personalized gift for a favorite hobby such as mounted personalized golf or tennis balls that say, "I love you," "You're a hit!" or "Be mine."
