Little Known History of the Star Spangled Banner
NWRL Legacy

Professor Jack Haymond will be visiting each library in January to talk about the Star Spangled Banner that was written during the War of 1812. Dr. Haymond will discuss the war and its importance to the Americans and Canadians. He will also discuss the importance of the Star Spangled Banner and how it became our National Anthem.

Children's iPads
NWRL
The new children's iPads are being installed in each of the libraries. The iPads have many fun games geared towards children uploaded on them. Bring your kids in to try them out!

Warroad and  Roseau had theirs recently installed.

Drop off your coke rewards points and support your local library.

Reward points can be found under caps, inside the cardboard containers of 12 and 24 packs, and on multi-pack wraps.

Codes can be found on 14 brands: Coca-cola, Coke Zero, Diet Coke, Sprite, DANSANI, Powerade, Minute Maid, Fanta, Barq's, Fresca, Pibb, Mello Yello, FUZE, Seagram's and TaB.

These points are used to buy library materials such as magazines. 

Just find the red bin with Coke Rewards on the front and drop your points inside.
