We would like to welcome our new Regional Director, Kristi Harms, to the area. Kristi started April 18th and comes from North Dakota where she worked at the Bismark library. We are very excited to have her here.

We also have a new arrival from Duluth, MN. Emily Savageau is the new Thief River Falls Public Library Children's Librarian and will also be the Legacy Coordinator and website editor. She started June 10th so be sure to say hi if you see her in the library.

Ashia Gustafson took over as the Thief River Falls Library Manager on April 22nd. She was the Children's Librarian, Legacy Coordinator and website editor.

The Civil War: An Interactive Experience

What was it really like to be a soldier during the Civil War? Arn Kind actively engages his audience through artifacts, uniforms, equipment and interactive drills to help answer that question.
