HO, HO, HO We Love Delivery

NWRL
During this holiday season, we've frequently been seeing images of Santa and it brings to mind the magical ride he makes once a year, making special deliveries.  We couldn't help but be reminded of our own Northwest Regional Library delivery, bringing books, movies and audiobooks to all of our branch libraries each week.

Any NWRL card holder can request an item in one of our branch libraries or through our website (www.nwrlib.org) and that item will show up on the shelf in the card holder's home library.

People are often delighted at how their requested items seem to magically appear on the hold shelf, but NWRL delivery isn't magic. It takes several people working behind the scenes and in our libraries to make it happen.

We know from surveys that the public highly values the delivery service in Northwest Regional Library, and we are happy we can make it happen.  If you have never requested a book, movie or audiobook, give it a try and watch the magic happen!

Lincoln: Man and Myth

NWRL
With the 150th anniversary of the start of the Civil War just passed in 2012 and the 150th anniversary of the Emancipation Proclamation coming up in 2013 interest in President Abraham Lincoln is high.

We are very excited to offer this fascinating program by Dr. Jack Haymond, professor of American History at Northland Community and Technical College in Thief River Falls, to help answer your questions about Lincoln: Man and Myth.
